my doc said that im not growing that much because of my growth hormones, so what do i have to do to keep it working agian till i reach to full hieght?

What causes girls to be taller than boys before puberty, and the reverse after? In terms of hormone release and the function of these hormones.
Also, does puberty begin at a later stage in girls than boys? and does the growth spurts of both occur at the same time?

basically, i’m doing a human biol report, and we studied the heights of 13 and 16 year old girls and boys, expecting the girls to be taller in the 13rd olds, and the boys to be taller in the 16yr olds. However, this is not the case. Why???
