HGH for Bodybuilding Archives

The clean bodybuilding competitions use regular drug tests (urine samples, etc.) and they also use lie detector tests. The combination of these two testing measures are quite effective. In other types of bodybuilding competitions, steroids (and other PED’s including HGH) can be used by competitors. Those are the big money competitions. Would lie detector tests help to catch steroid cheats (and other PED’s including HGH) in Major League Baseball? If so, do you think they will use this technique in the future?

Note: Guys in the industry claim that many MLB players do cycles of steroids (Anavar, Winstrol, Deca-Durabolin, etc.) in the offseason and they use HGH during the regular season. And guys like Victor Conte say that the best HGH tests out there right now are inaccurate. So, if this is true (and I do believe it is very true), wouldn’t you think lie detector tests would put an end to all of this nonsense quickly? You know, combining regular forms of testing with lie detector tests.
Guys, there is a reason why bodybuilding competitions use these two testing methods together. It’s because it’s almost impossible to beat both tests. I am not saying they should get rid of traditional testing methods in favor of lie detector tests. I am just saying, the sport would most likely be clean tomorrow if the league instituted these two forms of testing. It really would.
I realize lie detectors are not 100% accurate. But neither are regular drug tests. Should we do away with thiose because they are not 100% accurate. And besides, it is nearly impossible to beat a lie detector test. Your odds of winning the lottery would be greater.
So I guess the real question is: Do you even want the sport to be clean? Does it matter?

I’ve been working out, running, lifting weights, etc. etc. etc. a whole lot and I am looking into buying some body building supplements cuz I want to get ripped. Any tips or suggestions as to what I should get? No steroids or Hgh.

I’ve been working out a ton lately but I’m running out of time before school starts. I have a little bit of a difference but I want more mainly upper body. What are some good body building supplements to try/get? No steroids or hgh.

He said two interesting things: 1) Most professional bodybuilders are short because it is much tougher for a very tall man to look big and ripped; and 2) Professional bodybuilders suck in their stomachs during the competition and afterwards backstage they let their big bellies hang out. Why are their bellies so big? Does it have to do with steroid use or HGH? (note: performance enhancing drugs are allowed in many competitions).

I’m a wrestler (hence the 152 in my name :P ) anyways, a couple of people i know have been taking creatine, and while i oppose steroids i have consider creatine or hgh, to help build up upper body muscle (bench 165, squat 320, working on arms, i have lower body strength naturally) either way i just wanted to know if anyone has had any LASTING results, and if they noticed any major negative side affects

I just don’t think it’s possible. You have masking agents, you have players taking synthetic performance enhancers that are not on the banned list, you have union officials that occasionally tip off players before tests (like in the case of A-Rod), you have HGH (which can’t really be tested for accurately), and other factors. Professional bodybuilding decided years ago to not test anymore because the tests can be beat and the tests are expensive. They have clean competitions and they have competitions in which the athletes use performance enhancing drugs.

Okay i’m a huge Laker and Kobe fan but i have to admit that Lebron is by far the best player in the league so far this season, well statistically at least. And i watched the Boston/Cavalier game before the Laker game came on, while i was watching Lebron score 38 points to lead his team over Boston i began to think…this guy is huge, about 6′ 8" 260 pounds. He can elevate over any player in the league, he’s extremely fast..i mean has anyone seen a 260 pound man go from one end of the court to the other in about 3 seconds? Then the way he just bully’s everyone in the paint is unbelievable. He’s basically a football player playing basketball, he can drive in the lane whenever he wants and just muscle his way to the basket leaving bodies behind him on the ground. The first thing that came to mind was steroids… and it makes sense if you think about it.

1) What other player has the kind of built Lebron has..6′ 8" 260 pounds

2) He’s sooooo fast!…again has there ever been a man that size being as fast as he is?

3) Take a look at some pictures, Lebron has a huge head. We’re talking about Berry Bonds type of head

4) Acne problems. If you people didn’t know, steroids causes acne.

5) Steroids doesn’t improve every aspect of your game—– James cannot shoot to save his life outside of the paint. Everything he does is in the lane, he’s been in the league for several years now and his 3-point shooting/free-throw shooting is as bad as ever so possibly the only reason why he can do everything he does in the paint is because of his physical play and steroid use.

And even guys that had become known as "the big athletic men" for example Dwight Howard, Amare Stoudamire, Ben Wallace do not have the body James possesses. Dwight is about 6′ 11" 260-265 pounds he has 3 inches on lebron and theyre around the same weight. Amare is 6′ 11" 250 pounds again 3 inches on James but not as heavy, and Ben Wallace is 6′ 9" 240…none of them are as big, fast, and powerful as LBJ.

After all this i bet you ANYTHING if the NBA were to test LeBron for steroids or any kind of HGH he would with out a doubt test positive, the problem here is that the league would NOT test him simply because Lebron is the face of the league at this point in time and that would ruin the NBA’s reputation turning into the new MLB.

But next time you "witness" the magic of #23 think about it. . .and maybe you too will realize that his body and athleticism is just not natural.

get a 16 year old and make him workout as much as he can…i guarantee that he wont come close to getting the type of body Lebron had back when he was a junior in high school.

Like "Killa S" pointed out, no one has ever been considered the best player in the league by just having one face to their offensive game. All he ever does is drive into the lane push everyone out of the way elevate and dunk. 28% shooting from behind the three-point line?

oh and one more thing you were talking about how he’s worked sooooo hard and what not…okay well why cant he improve his jump shot if hes "worked so hard"? yea exactly. its called steroids.
Did i not talk about how Dwight Howard Amare and B. Wallace are all big athletic guys but none of them are as big as Lebron?

Howard has like 5 pounds on lebron even though he’s 3-4 inches taller.

I’m not a lebron hater, i even admit that he’s the best player in the league so far this season. and yes he does average more assists than kobe, but then again lebron has the ball in his hands 70 percent of the time, kobe doesnt handle the ball as much. if you watched the laker game tonight you noticed that kobe had the ball pretty much through out the whole game and he had 13 assists. so thats not too bad either.

about dwight howard just dunking and blocking, thats different. hes a center! you cant expect a center to develop a 20 foot jump shot. centers are meant to stay around the paint so dont even bring that up.
how does he get so many rebounds? he out muscles every other small forward thats how.

Ok I know some of ya know me as the guy who has been saying Lebron James is on PED’s, just to let ya know I am no Laker/Kobe fan I am actually just a Basketball fan and I do not hate or hate on Lebron James I will in fact admit that he is the BEST basketball player in the league. I know a lot of you Lebron James fans does not want to believe that he is on Steroids and that is understandable because you a "Fan" but I want you to see some of my points on why I think the man has used or is still using PED’s, instead of ya calling me a "hater" to brush it off I will like for you to see what I have to say and maybe it will make you think.

@FightOnUSC!- You made some valid points however comparing Rashard Lewis to Lebron James is crazy, Rashard Lewis aint the "greatest" player in th league, What makes you think the NBA ain’t just protecting there asset, Lebron James testing positive for Steroid use will crush the NBA, also Nobody knows if Michael Phelps and/or Usain Bolt is on PED’s, how long it took for them to catch Marion Jones ? they probably would have never found out if people would have not snitched. Also steroids doesnt teach you how to play basketball you are right but you being a decent BB player on roids can make you great it gives you stamina, strength, even better vision and reflectes, all different kinds of roids out that work for different thing, not all roids make you look like a body builder.

I pinched my nerve in my should back in october. I can’t feel most of my bicep, and my 3 deltoid muscles are literally gone. I can’t even hold up my cell phone for 5seconds without extreme fatigue. I use to weight 175lbs, around 8% body fat, now im 155lbs and i look like a skeleton because I can’t lift. There is severe atrophy on my pinched nerve shoulder. I play college football and i know how long it takes to build muscle. Im done with footballl if I can’t get HGH or some other supplement to help me. I know this for a fact. Any advise? will a doctor prescribe me HGH or something else? If your going to tell me to build muscle naturally you can stfu because im sick of people telling me that on forums and stuff. Im not stupid, if I could do it on my own I would, because im not lazy. I can not lift right now anyways but this is a question for when i regain arms normal functions.

alright so I’m not bragging or exagerating at all this is how it is

for probably the past 6 months everyone at my high school agrees that I’m the "most ripped" guy in the school (i’m a sophomore now, might compete in bodybuilding senior year). I try to stay modest about it, but who am i kidding, i love the positive rep. guys treat me with more respect and are always hoping i’ll help them with working out, which i’ll always do.

however, if you were to ask anyone in my school who the SECOND most ripped guy in the school is, they’d all agree it’s a new freshman kid, a year younger than me also looking to get into bodybuilding. I’ve seen this kids muscles and seen him lift some huge weights, he’s the real deal. so at first I thought "alright, some healthy competition i’ll be a good sport and push myself harder". Then he started bragging to everyone for some reason about the fact that he takes HGH steroids regularly.

On steroids, he’s progressing faster than anyone could imagine. Most people say that if he continues to use steroids, he’ll be equal to me in less than a year, and surpass me soon after.

I don’t know what to do about it, should I accept this guy as a fellow bodybuilder, tell him to lay off the roids, or what?

Im 20, white 5"11 and a male with lean built. My head looks kind of small when i look in the mirror. It goes with my body but then agian it doesn’t. It’s like it stopped growing in size when i was about 16 but the rest of my body continued to mature. Will this problem fix itself in the future or do i have to turn to HGH cream/pills (just kidding)

I found out that the NFL tests for steroids but not human growth hormone. I also know that professional bodybuilding has stopped trying to test for it a long time ago. It is simply too expensive, the tests are not accurate, and there are many ways to beat the HGH test anyway. People thought that steroids are the problem in baseball. But I feel human growth hormone is truly the culprit. And that stuff has proven to be quite dangerous too. One professional bodybuilder even shot it up and it went to his heart and triggered a heart attack. He lived but it was a close call. I am not sure about the links to cancer just yet.

I’m male already 16 years old, and I only weigh 115 pounds. I can’t seem to gain weight no matter how much I increase my daily food intake, and skipping one meal makes me lose a pound or two.

My body is extremely thin. I can hardly find any muscle at all. Lifting 50 pounds is a very difficult feat for me. This is not normal at all.

I honestly think that the reason is for these defects is that my body has stopped producing testosterone. A WHILE AGO. My chiropractor gave me a pamphlet on HGH. I’m not sure what to do. Will this help me gain a normal build? And what about the side effects? Is my case worth the risk?

the thing is im trying really hard to gain weight, im eating about 4 times a day and working out 6 days a week (high weights low reps) but do to my schedule ive only been able to gain like 15 pounds in 2 months. i havent been able to go to the gym all the time (havent been there in 2 weeks) cuz im ridiculously busy btwn my internship and college. im am outrageously skinny (18 yrs old 5′10 135) and am wondering if hgh would help me gain weight/get stronger faster (and possibly slightly taller).

A roommate and I have been debating when someone should take protein in order to gain muscle during working out, before or after. There seems to be good reasons to do each.
Ex:
Taking it before allows to body to use it during the workout to build up the muscles.
Taking it after allows the body to use it to repair the muscles and make them bigger.

For best results should someone take protein before or after they work out?

P.S. We are not looking for answers about steroids, HGH, or other supliments. We just want to know about protein.

hi my name is Kevin i am 18 years old and stand at 5 foot 11 inches.

my main goal is to grow to six feet, now i know its possible but unlikely i will grow any taller as of right now being 18. but ive heard there are some supplements that you can take to keep your hormone levels active and high allowing your body and bones to grow for a few years after puberty.
